We are currently seeking a Middle School Cross Country Coach.

HCS is seeking a Middle School Cross Country coach for the 2010-11 season.
Background in Cross Country or Track is preferred, but not mandatory. Some of the responsibilities are as follows:
 

  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the HCS Athletic Department and Administrative guidelines.
  • Coaches are responsible for coordinating practices, directing home meets, and overseeing the needs and interests of the HCS Cross Country Athletes.
  • Host one home invitational. Parents and volunteers will need to be contacted.
  • Coordinate all off season conditioning. This includes organizing the off season camp prior to the beginning of school.
  • Coaches will work with the Booster Club President to coordinate with the boosters their responsibilities for any fund raising projects.
  • Keep an accurate record of equipment and uniform assigned to athletes.
  • Display Good Sportsmanship and be a positive role model at all times.
